Soil Testing
Properly conducted soil sampling and testing is a cost-effective way to determine the types and amounts of fertilizer and/or lime needed to improve plant growth and yield.
There are three steps to complete a soil test:
- Obtain proper soil submittal form, with sampling instructions, and soil sample collection bag(s) of the Hardin County Extension Office
- Obtain soil sample
- Complete your submittal form and mail form, sample, along with payment, to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Soil, Water, and Forage Testing Laboratory in College Station.
